DSK are proud to announce the release of their first fully spec. race plate. Over the last few months DSK have been working with John Trainer (designer of the “T” series race buggies) to bring you the complete set for the T2 and T3 buggies. These plates are now available to buy and in true darkskykites style a custom set is only an e-mail away.

When we first started out with our custom belly pans we where always on the look out for the next kite buggy we could strap a bellypan too and nothing has changed, If you have a race buggy we don't have the template for we will throw in a discount and a Free T-shirts, so please feel free and have a look it could be your lucky day. The DSK race plates come in a set of 3 ( x 2 sides and a back )and are made from the same hard wearing HDP material as our belly pans, so we can guarantee used for the purpose intended, one set per buggy is all you will EVER need. All plates come with your number applied. The Vinyl we use for all decal has a permanent solvent based acrylic adhesive, this make of vinyl is the ideal choice for external applications onto flat or curved surfaces, also to make 110% sure your decals do not come off we cover all plates where required with a clear vinyl. When designing your race plates we do have to meet the regulations set in place by the PKA (ParaKarting Association) to make your plates official for racing, Their are a choice of 4 standard fonts., which we have set in place to give you a stress free designing experience. If you haven't got a race number please go to the PKA website and follow the licensing link for more information. Below are the guidelines set in place by the PKA 2009 for race plates.

ART. 5. IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS 
Identification numbers are to be mounted on each side and on the rear of the Parakart, side numbers must be mounted vertically and all numbers plates must be clearly visible. The mount for identification must be constructed from a flat solid material. Identification must be mounted on a white background. Identification numbers must be at least 14 cm high, 5 cm across and 2 cm thick. Both letters and numbers must be of a non-script font (e ;g ; Helvetica) and letters must be all capitals. The identificaiton letter for the pilots’ Country must immediately precede the numbers. Numbers must not touch and there must be a minimum 1 cm border between the identification and any additional decals or decoration.
